Import & Export
Import and export your subscriptions with OPML. Migrate from another feed reader or back up your feeds, with your folder structure intact.
OPML is a standard format for feed subscriptions. Folder structure is preserved on both import and export, up to three levels deep.
Import
Go to Settings → Account → Advanced and click Import OPML.
Select your OPML file to start the import. Files from other readers work, whether .opml or .xml.
OPML import is also available during first-time setup, from the welcome screen.
You'll land on the import history page. Click the import to see its progress, and once it's done, a summary:
- Imported: Successfully added
- Duplicates: Skipped (already subscribed)
- Failed: Couldn't parse (details in the report)
Open the Failed list to see each feed that couldn't be added along with the reason, like a dead URL or a malformed feed.
Rollback
Changed your mind? Open the import and click Rollback to remove every feed that came in with it. Rollback is available for a short window after the import.
Want to keep some feeds? Unsubscribe individually instead of rolling back.
Export
Settings → Account → Advanced → Export OPML
Exports all your feeds with folder structure. Newsletters aren't included.
You'll be notified when the export is ready, and it downloads automatically.
FAQ
How is this guide?
Newsletters
Read email newsletters in Glanced, not your inbox. Each subscription gets a unique email address, so new issues land in your feed and your inbox stays clean.
Folders
Organize feeds and newsletters into folders, and nest folders within folders, to group sources by topic and keep your library tidy.
